Who is The 8 Unit?

The 8 Unit is an independent Malaysia-based artiste management company established in year 2004, and functions under the Media Prima Group.

Headed by Jacynta Au-Yong, who comes with years of experience in the Entertainment industry, The 8 Unit is the official talent management unit for finalists from TV reality shows including Malaysian Idol, Project Superstar, One In A Million, and also a few significant radio DJs and TV hosts.

The line-up of artistes under the management of The 8 Unit include Jaclyn Victor, Nita, Shila, Johnson Wee, Desiree Tan, Faizal Tahir, Ayu, Dylan Liong, and Jules & Prem (of Fly FM).

The 8 Unit is responsible for the marketing and managing of artistes' and hosts' career advancement, progress and image-building. With a dedicated team to invest continuous efforts in growing the careers of the artistes to greater heights, we have seen the success of our artistes in the areas of singing, acting, hosting, and modeling.
