John the "Angel" for Angels Children Home Find out how you can join hands with John in helping to improve the lives of 14 needy children Johnson Wee joins hands with Angles Children Home to create public awareness to obtain more sponsors and support for the children of the home. As the home's designated "Angel", it has always been his priority wish to do more for the less fortunate, in particular for the young children's welfare and education. Angels Children Home is a non-profit organization set up in May 2004, and is registered under the Registrar of Societies No. PPP/WKL/335/03. The Founder and President of the home Mr. William Chang, together with Ms. Belinda Chew, who is the Administrator/Coordinator, take care of the welfare of the children. This home was started to give shelter, food, clothing and education to help the needy and poverty stricken children who do not have proper meals and education, helping the battered and abused wives who are left to shoulder the burdens of raising their children alone and unable to make ends meet due to poverty. Struggling with a lot of financial constraints, the home is currently located at a modest double-story house in OUG (KL), with barely enough space for the children to sleep. Thus, The 8 Unit is running a fund-raising campaign to encourage personal and corporate monetary contributions, to help the home to improve on the basic amenities offered to the children, to ultimately improve their state of living. Initiated by John himself, the children of the home will also be treated to a special day-out in August 2007 in conjunction with his 24th birthday celebration in the same month. Organized by his management team, The 8 Unit, this event will definitely be one filled with lots of games, fun and laughter for the children.
