PRESS RELEASE: Rejoice signs Jaclyn Victor as Brand Ambassador

Rejoice and Jaclyn Victor launch latest single "SATU HARAPAN"

Kuala Lumpur, 16 May 2007 - Rejoice, the shampoo that gives you smooth hair from all angles, announced today that it has signed 14th AIM Best Female Vocal Performance winner, Jaclyn Victor as its brand ambassador.

Jac, as she is more fondly known, is the soulful songbird who won the hearts of millions of Malaysians during the sensational Season 1 of Malaysian Idol. She has now been chosen to carry the torch as the Rejoice brand ambassador and as a first step, Rejoice and Jac are teaming up on the launch of her new single "Satu Harapan".

"Satu Harapan" is Jac's latest song that is currently at the 13th spot on the Hot FM 30 radio chart.

"Satu Harapan" is my personal anthem as it reflects my life journey and the big dream that I always had. The song also talks about my trials and tribulations that I had to overcome to succeed," said Jac.

Jac continued, "I am very honoured and excited to work with a brand like Rejoice. I have been a Rejoice user before this so for me this is really a great project. I very much look forward to the collaboration with Rejoice to further promote "Satu Harapan" and hopefully it will continue to climb up the Hot FM 30 charts!"

Rejoice and Jac will start promoting "Satu Harapan" via a music video and roadshows. Rejoice will also feature Jac in its in-store promotions starting from May 2007.

Rejoice and Jac are also collaborating with Hot fm for a on-air, on-ground and on-line talent contest called IMPIAN HANGAT.

"IMPIAN HANGAT is like a stepping stone for young Malaysians who want to make it into the world of music and entertainment. Three winners will be selected to play 3 different roles in Jac's next music video," Saurabh explained.
